CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens are already embracing working together.
The new Dallas Cowboys teammates spent the weekend in Arizona, suiting up for the inaugural Kyler Murray Foundation Charity Softball Game. The wide receivers briefly spoke to media members at the event, with Lamb emphasizing that he and Pickens can work together.
“We both 1s,” Lamb said on a social media video shared by DLLS Cowboys. “It ain’t no A, B. None of that. It’s one. You look over there, you see one. You look over there, you see another one. So, do what you gotta do with that.”

The Cowboys are hoping Pickens can give the Dallas offense an extra boost during the 2025 season. Dallas acquired Pickens from the Steelers earlier this month, sending a 2026 third-round pick and a 2027 fifth-round selection to Pittsburgh in the deal.
Pickens, 24, had 59 catches for 900 yards and three touchdowns last season. He posted at least 50 receptions, 800 yards and three touchdowns in each of his three seasons with the Steelers.
During his Cowboys introduction, Pickens offered a positive take when asked about working with Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott. Like Lamb, Pickens wouldn’t describe his tandem with Lamb as a “1A-1B” situation.
“On the outside, you guys make it a 1A and 1B and all this,” Pickens said. “Honestly, that’s the first time I heard any of that stuff.
“I felt like two receivers are kind of normal. When I used to watch football, there was always a good receiver and there was always another good receiver on the other side of him. I just feel like we’re going to work off each other very well.”
