Precipitation may return to North Texas overnight, but it may be a limited amount of water.
The edge of a band of showers and storms — primarily affecting West Texas and Oklahoma — is expected to move through North Texas overnight. It will primarily affect the northern half of the region, impacting the metro area between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Lightning and gusty winds may be possible, but not much water is expected to accumulate, with totals forecasted to be less than a tenth of an inch.
A complex of storms will be weakening as it nears the Red River, but it may send some showers or storms into North Texas late Monday evening into the overnight hours. Severe Storms are not expected but lightning and gusty winds will be possible. #texomawx #dfwwx #ctxwx pic.twitter.com/niyAHPlkvW

Before the showers, skies should be mostly clear during the day on Monday. The high is expected to reach 94 degrees, with a “feels like” temperature of 100.
