Tiki theme takes over Dallas rooftop bar for the summer

Hank’s Hideaway, near Uptown Dallas and Victory Park, will feature island vibes and tropical cocktails.

Restaurant The Henry, nestled near Uptown Dallas and Victory Park, has opened a tiki-themed rooftop pop-up, Hank’s Hideaway, for the summer season.

What to expect for this island getaway? Festive decor and cabanas with views of downtown Dallas as the backdrop.

Tropical cocktails are a main feature. You’ll find margaritas, piña coladas, frozen daiquiris and more.

Food items include kalua pork sliders with passionfruit barbecue sauce and a yellowfin poke bowl with yuzu sticky rice, sriracha aioli, marinated sweet onions, avocado herb salad, toasted macadamia and togarashi. There’s also a lemon-olive oil cake for dessert.

From Monday through Friday, 4 to 6 p.m., happy hour ushers in deals like $12 specialty cocktails, $7 beer and $9 glasses of wine.
