Netflix House Dallas is getting closer to reality, and it’s going to feature attractions tied to some of the most popular shows on the streaming service.
The new entertainment spot at Galleria Dallas is set to offer what it calls "Squid Game: Survive the Trials" — which lets visitors try to survive competitions and face off against the Front Man, according to a statement from the company. It will also include "Stranger Things: Escape the Dark", an immersive experience where fans can visit the city of Hawkins to find missing townspeople.
There are also plans for a game area with physical challenges, story rooms and retro-style competitions.
Netflix House Dallas is slated to open in late 2025 — and will be one of just two locations in the United States scheduled to get the new concept initially. The other one is set for Pennsylvania, and a third venue is planned for Las Vegas in 2027.

Locally, the new site is another addition to the lineup of entertainment activities that has been growing in North Texas. Last year, Cosm, which features a gigantic screen for sports fans, opened in The Colony, and there’s also the planned Universal Studios kid’s theme park and resort in Frisco.
For Galleria Dallas, the Netflix attraction is bringing a key experiential option as malls look for fresh ways to draw in visitors. The shopping center was recently named No. 3 in the U.S. and received kudos for its skating rink.
“Finally, a place where the Netflix story you can’t get enough of becomes something real that you can play, shop and taste,” Marian Lee, Netflix’s chief marketing officer, said in the statement. “This is fandom coming to life.”

That’s not to say Netflix is new to this kind of fan outreach. It’s building on more than 40 previous live experiences that include several titles. Aside from Stranger Things and Squid Game, they’ve also been tied to titles such as Bridgerton and Money Heist.
The Dallas version will be different from the one in King of Prussia, Pa. — which is set to feature experiences around Wednesday and One Piece, and will offer virtual reality games.

Both sites will include “Netflix Bites” with food and craft cocktails playing on the company’s stories and characters. There also will be a shop featuring merchandise.
North Texans can sign up for early access at netflixhouse.com, which will cover more than 100,000 square feet at Galleria Dallas.
“With fresh experiences dropping regularly, there’s always a new reason to come back,” Lee said.
