Here is where H-E-B is coming next in North Texas

The San Antonio-based chain has a dozen stores in Dallas-Fort Worth

Texas-based supermarket chain H-E-B is ramping up to open another store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, as it continues to make inroads in North Texas.

This time, H-E-B is breaking ground on its first location in Dallas proper. On Thursday, the company announced plans to build a store at Hillcrest Road off of Interstate 635.

The latest reveal brings H-E-B’s announced new stores to eight in D-FW, along with a dozen stores that have opened since the chain came into the market with force in 2022.

Store openings usually draw big crowds, with more than 1,500 at the first local opening in Frisco.
